Known for having a little bit of everything, it’s no wonder Spain is a popular holiday destination for Americans. Art, UNESCO sites, and the Flamenco – the trademark dance of Spain – call visitors to Seville. Madrid is one of the most fun places to enjoy Spanish culture and excellent food. How about a trip up north to Pamplona for a heart-pounding bull run? And of course, Barcelona is a must-see for its Gaudi creations (The Sagrada Familia is jaw-droppingly cool), modern Mediterranean beach culture, and party atmosphere. As much fun as Spain is, the majority of the Spanish population doesn’t extend their warm and fuzzy feelings towards the U.S. Spain joins the ranks as another European Union country that’s not into America’s stance on foreign policy or its involvement in the middle east.
