11) Get Everyone Involved
One of the best aspects of a staycation is often the one most people forget about. If you’re still at home, that means you’re still surrounded by all of your friends and family. If properly executed, a staycation can be like taking all of your friends and family on vacation with you. If you have an activity scheduled that you think would be perfect for your parents, the kid’s friends, or your best buddy — give them a call and invite them along. Even if your friends and family aren’t on staycation, and still have to go to work each day, you can involve them in the fun by organizing a good, old-fashioned cook-out or impromptu block party. Get the whole family together for no reason other than the fact that you can. Get out your camera make some memories!
