8 Hidden Locations in Georgia

2) Frick’s Cave

Frick’s Cave is located in Georgia although it is situated on the eastern side of Lookout Mountain in Tennessee. The cave is home to over 10,000 endangered bats and rare salamanders. Frick’s Cave provides Georgia with rich biologic spelean land. There are only two Gray Bat caves located in Georgia and Frick’s happens to be one of them. Southeastern Cave Conservancy purchased part of the cave and surrounding land. This enabled them to protect the inhabitants of the cave. In doing so, they only provide visitors with tours of the cave once a year, when the bats are not inside the cave. I don’t know about you but when I hear about something so exclusive, I generally want to find out what all of the hype is about. If I were you, I’d get a jump on things by finding out how I can be one of the people lucky enough to get a glimpse inside Frick’s Cave.
