10) Carry On Bag
Purchase a duffel bag or a small-sized backpack as your carry-on; these are light-weight and can usually hold all your plane necessities. There are some essentials you should always include in your carry on. As mentioned above, travel entertainment is a must –store your tablet or smart phone in your carry on and don’t forget to include the charging cord and adapter. You packed your toiletries, but if you checked that bag, then you’ve got nothing to freshen up with – a mini toothbrush and toothpaste work wonders after hours of travel. Throw in wet wipes and a travel-size deodorant and you’ll feel like a million bucks! Bring a shawl, sweatshirt or comfy sweater for when the flight gets a little too cold. Finally, pack a change of clothes (including undies and socks) in case your checked luggage doesn’t arrive at the same time (or place) that you do.
