6) Bennett Beach, Yukon
Bennett Beach is a low-key, secluded little stretch of beach compared to many of the big-name beaches on this list. Bennett Beach can be found on the well-known 180 kilometre route between Skagway in Alaska and Whitehorse in Yukon County and is located in the historic gold rush village of Carcross. Comprised of just 2km of soft white sand with breath-taking views of endless freshwater lake in front and monstrous snow-capped mountains behind, Bennett Beach is an off-the-beaten track gem. It is a great place from which to explore Carcross Desert (the world’s smallest desert) and some of the most historic buildings in the county of Yukon.
