Another Ontario beach, Grand Bend has been attracting tourists to its beautiful sandy coastline and fun, bustling street scene since the mid-nineteenth century. Located along the shores of Lake Huron in Southern Ontario, âThe Bendâ as itâs known by locals, is just 45minutes from London. Main Street is the place to be for a Florida-style beach party while the beaches located to the south of the river mouth are a bit quieter and more family-friendly. Nearby Piney Provincial Park offers almost 1,000 different campsites, making travelling with a family nice and cheap. Mini golf, theatre, street food, art galleries, cafĂ©s, restaurants and bars, Grand Bend really has it all.
