1) Grand Beach, Manitoba
A gorgeous freshwater beach located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg, the sixth largest of Canada’s many epic lakes, Grand Beach is the jewel of nearby town Grand Marais in Manitoba, Canada. Stretching over 3km of fine white sand and surrounded by towering sand dunes, Grand Beach is part of Grand Beach Provincial Park. In 2012, Grand Beach was awarded a Blue Flag for being an ‘extraordinary and safe’ beach and pulls in the visitors with numerous water-sports, beach volleyball and a rare bird sanctuary.
