12) Hitachi Seaside Park, Japan
This public park of nearly 200 hectares in Hitachinaka, Japan has one major selling point; blooming flowers all year long. Have you ever seen a park with 4.5 million flowers covering the ground? That’s what you’ll find here in spring – and that’s only the Baby Blue-Eyes variety. When they blossom at once, it creates a beautiful bright blue carpet as far as the eye can see. Don’t forget about the thousands of cheerful daffodils, 170 different varieties of tulips, and many more. This park is a favorite spot for locals and tourists. Folks come here to relax, stroll, exercise on the cycling trails, or challenge the BMX trails. Visitors can also visit the amusement park, gather for BBQs, or kick back and let someone else do the cooking at one of the cafes or restaurants.
