1) Tulip Fields, Netherlands
Spring is absolutely stunning in the Netherlands. While it’s true that most everywhere experiences a beautiful flower bloom in spring, the Netherlands seriously puts everyone else to shame. One trip to the country’s Flower Bulb Region, and you’ll understand why. The biggest flower park in the world is in Keukenhof, just a 40-minute drive from Amsterdam. There are also equally impressive flower fields in Enkhuizen and Flevoland, all of which are in the Flower Bulb Region. The local Dutch tulip farmers in the area are responsible for the magnificent sights of field after field of colorful, cheerful flowers and tulips. The best way to experience all the beautiful colors is to rent a bike and cruise around through all the pink, red, and yellow flowers. The flower fields put on a show starting in March until the middle of May. However, the best to visit is usually mid-April.
