8) Percival Landing Boardwalk
Percival Landing park in Olympia may seem unremarkable, but the boardwalk extending out into the water is a great, uncrowded attraction for the whole family. Unlike many boardwalks around the country which seem both overcrowded and unsafe, this one has been newly refurbished and is designed for people to walk out on. The boardwalk and the shops which line the coastal street are family friendly and interesting, with the famous kissing statue an excellent photo opportunity. Enjoy the atmosphere of this seaside town and visit the local farmers market if you want to get involved, but the boardwalk is a fantastic experience for anyone who wants to be surrounded by the calm water.
