Ernie, who took the store over from his father, takes pride in welcoming every customer as if he or she is a long lost friend. Ernie’s overly familiar style is only equaled by the deliciousness of his huge sandwiches. Make sure that you ask him to give you a bit of his “love”, which means that he’ll include his special sauce. The market definitely has a “hole in the wall” feel to it, there’s no place to sit and eat, and don’t be surprised if you have to wait for at least an hour as the lines are long. Everything will pale into insignificance, however, once you taste Ernie’s sandwich.
