2) Venice Canals
Created in 1905, the man-made canals of Venice, California were designed to resemble those of the city of Venice, Italy, complete with boats, canals and lovely bridge ways, which allow for walking between bridges. Travelers love visiting this part of California because it offers a casual, laidback strolls through a beautiful neighborhood with enormous homes perched along the canals. Residents never have to worry about traffic because many of the streets are pedestrian only. In addition to its canals, Venice also has a fun and colorful ocean side promenade with street performers, vendors and local artists.
