If that doesn’t get your heart pumping, we don’t know what will. West Virginia, located in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains, has the renowned trail running straight through it. Therefore, this state is actually a great place to explore nature. The 25-mile North Fork Mountain Trail is popular for more experienced hikers, backpackers, trail runners, and is also open for camping. It’s said to have some of the most majestic views in West Virginia. Not up for the challenge?
