3) Falling Waters State Park

This isn’t an attraction that is often listed among the ‘must see’ attractions in Florida but we find it fun and interesting. The Falling Waters State Park is situated between Tallahassee and Pensacola Florida. The appeal of this park is the waterfall. It is the highest waterfall in Florida with a drop of 73-feet below. If you are headed to either Tallahassee or Pensacola, you might consider adding Falling Waters to your itinerary. There is a lovely butterfly garden that visitors enjoy. You can also take a swim in the lake or pack a lunch and enjoy the surrounds of nature while picnicking in the park. Hikers enjoy the peaceful and tranquil trails. If you fall in love with what you have just seen, you will be happy to know that there are campgrounds at Falling Waters where you can stay overnight.
