7. Get Plenty of Sleep
It can be easy to not get enough sleep on vacation. You want to pack in as many things as you can each day to make sure you don’t miss out on anything. No matter your vacation schedule, it’s important that you still get a good night’s sleep each night so you can wake up refreshed each day. Lack of sleep takes away your energy and can make you more inclined to skip workouts, not watch what you eat, or opt for unhealthy energy-boosting foods loaded with sugar or caffeine. It will also cause your metabolism to slow down, which can lead to fast weight gain. Aim for about 8 hours of sleep each night of your vacation to avoid drowsiness.
