Crested Butte has over 1,165 skiable acres and 121 runs, the longest of which is over 2.5 miles. Skiing at Crested Butte isn’t about the stats nor is it about the luxury shopping or glamorous restaurants others ski resorts swear by. At Crested Butte you can experience a taste of counter-culture most other destinations are sadly lacking in. Back-alley log cabins hold restaurants and cafes and the local shuttle bus has been painted by local artists.
