Fall is a good time to visit Seattle. July and August are the busiest months. It’s a foodie haven and offers dining choices suitable to every palate and budget. Local breweries abound and Pike Place Market sells all kinds of wares, ingredients and tasty treats. According to U.S. News & World Report, skip the airport car rental kiosk and rent closer to town where it’s cheaper. The Seattle Citypass is a great deal for getting tourist admission into five attractions, including the Space Needle, an Argosy Cruise Harbor tour and the aquarium, at reduced prices. The city also has many hotel chains offering competitive nightly rates. Additionally, Seattle is full of parks free to the public. For art lovers, Olympic Sculpture Park is free. It’s an outdoor sculpture museum with permanent and visiting exhibits.
