Utah’s desert landscape of mountains and valleys is a haven for bikers and climbers. Head to Hell’s Revenge Trail to take a white-knuckle 4×4 ride over 6.5 miles of trails recommended only for experienced drivers. If ATVing is more your style, check out Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park with miles of trails for off-roading over 2,000 acres. In addition, the Utah Adventure Center is a one-stop shop for thrill seekers in Salt Lake City. They offer paddle boarding, waterfall ziplining, and climbing Waterfall Canyon. The Waterfall Canyon climb is done via ferrata, an Italian phrase that means iron road. Steel cables and other anchors are already in place allowing less experienced climbers to access challenging terrain. Fisher Towers is another site for rock climbing, with soaring heights of 1,000 feet.
