2) Yosemite National Park
Yosemite has some of the most incredible natural features in the country. It is home to huge rock formations, including high-reaching cliffs and plummeting valleys. There are also thousands of waterfalls, which are at their most beautiful in the spring, after the snow melts. Additionally, there is a wide range of wildlife, including more than 400 vertebrate species. The park encompasses a variety of different habitats, which allows visitors to see animals ranging from bears to bats to sheep. Yosemite also has a museum to visit, with changing exhibits which provide insight into the geological formations, natural history, historical Indian tribes, and organisms of the park area. The museum building is a wonderful example of rustic architecture, and the organization of exhibits has served as a model for other natural parks.
