3) Toronto

A couple of things first: if you’re an oldie looking for a serene, far-off place to enjoy your retired life, this place is not for you. Toronto is a place for those who are alive and kicking. It’s the capital of the province, but then again, Ottawa is the capital of Canada. Why is there a huge body of people who prefer Toronto to Ottawa? One reason behind it could be that Toronto alone has such a big number of people. It’s the fourth largest city in North America. Imagine that! You’re looking at a city in the same category as New York and Los Angeles. So it’s only fair to expect a few things: there are more employment opportunities in Toronto than in most parts of North America; it’s more multi-cultural and racially diverse; above all, business is good here. The city has the strongest financial sector in Canada. Worried about the crime rate? Well, don’t expect it to be safer than Hamilton or Ottawa, but it’s still pretty safe by American standards. At least, a lot safer than New York or Los Angeles!
