4) Underground Road
Now here is a spot worth talking about. It is so exclusive that there is little information known about it or its location. The 2.5mile street runs alongside the city’s Metra Electric/Illinois Central Railroad tracks and beneath the popular Millennium Park and Art Institute.
It is believed that this route is only intended for government officials who need to avoid traffic along Lake Shore Drive. Its obscurity can be contributed to the fact that only a few motorists have legal access to the road.
