This bar and grill isn’t widely known to most people in the Chicago area but you can be sure that students who attend Southern Illinois University-Carbondale are well familiar with Bottoms Up Bar & Grill. It might be because of the Wednesday night fried chicken special of only $3 or the $1.25 beer.
Whichever it is, it is a favorite among those who know about the Bottoms Up Bar & Grill. It has been said that over 500 chickens have been cooked on a Wednesday night. If this doesn’t attest to how good the chicken is; I’m not sure what will.
