9) White Water Rafting in Colorado
For true adrenaline junkies, white water rafting is as good as it gets. So, how about an over-night rafting experience in Colorado’s Browns Canyon? Overnight excursions leave from River Runners at Browns Canyon from May 15th through August 15th with a minimum of six people per raft. Tents and other camping equipment are available to rent at extremely reasonable prices. A two-person tent rental is only $20. Sleeping bag/pad combo’s run $15. This comes in handy for those of you that either aren’t that experienced or aren’t driving there and need to save on checked luggage. All meals are included, and trips range from one to three days. Experienced guides will take you down river through challenging white water, then help set up camp in the evening in great scenic locations. In the morning you’ll wake to the sound of rushing water and nature all around you.
