The historic city of Boston offers much for the sophisticated and adventurous traveler. The first time you visit, it’s recommended to walk the Freedom Trail. This gives a feel of the revolutionary spirit of the city. Boston is also full of culture and fine art. The collector’s mansion of Isabella Stewart Gardner features masterpiece paintings. Boston’s Little Italy, at the north end of the city, gives a sense of the old immigrant neighborhoods. The real culture of Boston, however, is the love of sports. If you want to feel like a local and get in on the action, head to a Red Sox game. Sitting in the bleachers with the dedicated fans will really get your adrenaline pumping! To wind down from the excitement, head to the Arnold Arboretum and stroll through the magnificent gardens. The USS Constitution Museum is also a must-see on any naval fan’s list.
