4) Las Vegas, Nevada
Unbelievably, there is a bit of winter in the desert. Albeit very brief. So, Las Vegas makes the most of the cooler temperatures and rare snow. For those from a cold northern state, these temperatures aren’t exceptionally cold. It ranges from the 50’s and 60’s during the day down to the 30’s at night. But no matter the temperatures outside, there’s always something fun to do indoors. If you don’t mind a bit of a chill, keep your coat on and head to Winter Parq at the Linq Promenade. It’s an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district located near the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel. Early December expects to see snowfall, and in true Vegas style, they make the most of it. Holiday decorations, carolers, and music create a holly jolly holiday experience for visitors. Hotel prices are at their cheapest before the holidays as well.
