2) Lake Louise, Alberta
What could be more romantic than spending your vacation surrounded by some of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in Canada. Banff National Park is famous for its intimidating grizzly bears, Victoria Glacier, beautiful hiking trails and, of course, Lake Louise, the glittering gem at the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Named after Queen Victoria’s fourth daughter, Lake Louise is one of the world’s top honeymoon destinations and it’s easy to see why.
The view from the Fairmont hotel looking out over placid turquoise waters framed by a wall of chiseled mountains is breath-taking and to share it with someone special is even better. Build up an appetite for food and romance by taking a canoe out onto the lake, skiing in winter or hiking in summer.
