Yup, old school coupon clipping will still get you some great discounts on your travels. While probably not the most popular method nowadays with all the other options out there, some coupon sites are still worth a visit. Groupon.com is a unique site that offers discounts on the little extras that could push your vacation from good to great. For example, get major deals on spa treatments, or discounts at local restaurants. Groupon even has a “Getaways” category with travel deals. The destinations are mostly within the States, but sometimes you’ll find Mexico and the Caribbean thrown into the mix. An even simpler coupon searching method: google “Coupon Codes” for whatever site you’re using (Hotels.com, Booking.com, etc.) and instantly find codes that could up your vacation’s value. The Travel & Ticket section on Dealsplus.com is also good for last minute flights tickets and travel shopping.
