3) JetBlue Airways
It’s one of the world’s safest and best low-cost carriers, servicing 90+ destinations in the U.S. While JetBlue doesn’t boast the same quantity of services that Qantas does, the quality is still very high for a budget airline. Like Virgin America, Jetblue received 7 out of 7 in safety and 5 out of 5 in product ratings. Jetblue has had zero fatalities in the last 10 years, and met the international standards for operational management and control systems of an airline (evaluated by the IOSA). In-flight services include snacks and non-alcoholic drinks with additional food and drinks available for purchase. This is better service than any of the other low-cost carriers out there. Even in Economy-class, every seatback is equipped with a personal media screen with 36 complimentary stations. Jetblue received the FAA Endorsement, deeming them very qualified to fly in American airspace.
