8) Ohio Caverns
The Ohio Caverns are located just outside of Dayton, Ohio. It is one of the largest cave systems located in Ohio with various crystal formations and many of the caves stalagmite and stalactite formations can still be viewed today. Visitors to the park can plan on spending an entire day here touring the cave and enjoying the surrounding area. There are several picnic shelters, a playground, gift shop and more. If you enjoy exploration of nature, you’ll surely enjoy a visit to the Ohio Caverns. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures because many of the formations in the cave are still being developed. It offers you the chance to get up close to one of the world’s most intriguing wonders.
