3) A Christmas Story House
The Christmas Story House is now a museum located in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. It is a beautiful 19th-century Victorian house and in 2004, a private developer purchased the house and restored it to resemble the inside and outside of the films home. The fact that the developer was able to purchase the home for a mere $150,000 on Ebay is remarkable within itself. He was able to memorize many of the homes interior and exterior design by carefully watching each frame of the film. Tours of the home are available to the public throughout the year so if you are anywhere near Cleveland and are also a fan of the movie, like its developer, make a detour to the Christmas Story House. Across the street, you’ll be able to enjoy a Christmas Story House Museum tour complete with memorabilia from the actual film.
