9) Wave Hill Garden
It is no secret that urban parks abound in New York. However, if you want to visit a park outside the city, visit Wave Hill located in the neighborhood of Riverdale in the Bronx. This park sits on 28-acres and is a public garden and cultural center. Two spectacular buildings on the property boast contemporary art exhibits for visitors to take in.
The best part about Wave Hill, other than the immaculate landscaping, are the amazing views of the lovely New Jersey Palisades vistas seen from several locations throughout the park. If you’re a photographer, chances are you’ll have plenty of gorgeous shots to take home.
