3) Kindle: Books to go
There are a number of ways to access reading material on the road but none of them can compete with the almighty Kindle. When the Kindle was first released in 2007 it sold out in hours and in subsequent years has revolutionized the way we access books on the go, continuing to innovate and improve upon its original design. The main benefit of taking a Kindle traveling is obvious – you don’t have to carry ten paperbacks in your backpack – but having a Kindle also gives you instant access to a huge library of books that can be downloaded in seconds. Many tablets now offer Kindle apps but for a simple, dedicated e-reader you can’t go wrong with a good-old Kindle.
