5) Napa Valley
The scenic area of Napa Valley is the perfect place to go for wine lovers. The valley is filled with wineries that each have their own personality. If you want to visit a truly unique winery, check out Castello di Amorosa, an authentic 13th-century Tuscan castle that has wine tastings and tours. There are also many small, family-run wineries that offer tastings of their locally-made wines. Even if you’re not the biggest wine fan, there’s still plenty to do and see in Napa Valley. Spend time strolling through the shops in the lovely town of Napa, and go for a meal in a world-class restaurant. Or, take a bike ride down the 47-mile Napa Valley Vine Trail, a bike trail that will take you through many of Napa Valley’s quaint towns.
