Statue of Liberty
If you’re coming to the United States, it makes sense if you begin your tour by visiting the symbol of America – The Statue of Liberty. This statue was a gift from France to the U.S., and represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty. It is visited by 3.5 million people every year. Tourists from all over the world come to experience this great monument and record their moments on camera. You can also climb the statue by climbing 354 stairs, but since only 240 visitors are allowed every day, you must make a reservation. While you’re here, you can take a ferry ride, explore the waters surrounding the goddess (the statue, of course), or explore the nearby areas of the city.
