The original Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY (known as the house that Ruth built) was built in 1922 at a cost of 2.4 million, (35 million by todays dollar value). It was home to the New York Yankees until 2009 when the New Yankee Stadium was completed at a cost of $2.3 billion. The new stadium offers way more than your average concession stand fair.
