5) Staples Center, Los Angeles

Open for business in the fall of 1999, the Staples Center in Los Angeles is home to the L.A. Lakers and Clippers NBA team as well as the Los Angeles Kings, an NHL team which in 2012 won their first Stanley Cup victory after beating the New Jersey Devils. Sadly in 2009 the Staples Center hosted the memorial service for the late King of Pop Michael Jackson after his untimely passing. Like MSG in NY, the Staples Center is also a favorite concert venue for performers and fans alike, having hosted the Grammys in 2009. It is also a great place to see the top wrestlers perform when the entertainment juggernaut The WWE comes to town.
