
9) Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, California
Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are two beautiful national parks that lie side by side. Both parks are home to amazing groves of gigantic sequoia trees. There are 14 campgrounds available in these two parks. Most of these campgrounds give you easy to access to hiking trails with amazing views of the unique landscape. If you’d like to be close to a sequoia grove, stay in the Lodgepole Campground. This campground is in Sequoia National Park, and it’ s just two miles from the Giant Forest sequoia grove. If you’d rather camp somewhere quieter, check out the Cedar Grove Area in Kings Canyon National Park, which is home to four campgrounds. This area is located 4,000 feet above sea level, and it gives you easy access to the high Sierra wilderness.
