Located on the coast of Maine, Acadia National Park is home to over 47,000 acres of woodland, rocky beaches, and soaring mountains. This lovely national park is a great place for any nature lover to go on vacation. There are a few different campgrounds available in the park. This includes Blackwoods Campground, which is about five miles south of the city of Bar Harbor. This campground has group tent campsites, RV camping, and motor home sites. Blackwoods fills up quickly during the summer months, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance. If you’re looking for a quieter campsite, try the Duck Harbor Campground. This campground is on a rugged island only accessible by boat, and it has just five campsites. If you’d like to camp here, be sure to mail in a reservation form.
