10) Ludington State Park, Michigan
The lovely Ludington State Park Is located between Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan. This park offers three large drive-in campgrounds with 355 campsites in total. They also have a rustic hike-in only campground called Jack Pine Campground. This campground has ten campsites, which can be reached by hiking a mile-long trail. When you’re staying in Ludington State Park, you’ll find plenty of fun things to do. You can go swimming in one of the park’s beautiful lakes, or you can take a walk on the shoreline. You can also go fishing or canoeing. Also, be sure not to miss the park’s famous Big Sable Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. If you’re hoping to go hiking, the park also has 25 miles of beautiful trails that run through lush forest.
