6) Graffiti Art at Cadillac Ranch Near Amarillo, Texas
Cadillac Ranch is not your typical ranch – you won’t find animals grazing in grass fields. What you will find though is a really funky display of junk cars buried half in the ground and spray painted into quite a colorful display of art. Again, California elevates junk into something beautiful. You’ll find Cadillac Ranch along Route 66 west of Amarillo. One of the great things about the ranch is that if you would like to participate, you are welcome to bring a can of paint and add your own flare to the display.
