The Texas capital, Austin, is a must-visit city for many reasons. Food, history, and music are the three highlights in this vibrant and fun-loving city. The Music Capital of the World earned its nickname due to the biggest number of music venues per capita than any other American city. A night out must be spent on Sixth Street, the heart and soul of the state’s music industry. Janis Joplin and the Dixie Chicks, among others, owe their start to this city’s comprehensive music scene.
