Solvang, California is a small yet unique Danish town located near Santa Ynez, just fifteen miles from the coast. Each year, residents and visitors of Solvang dost the Danish Days, which is a fall festival offering authentic dances, food, music, and art from Denmark. Solvang is a bike friendly town for anyone looking for some daytime athletic activity, however it is also located along California State Route 246, which is a scenic road wrapping around the hills between Buellton and US Route 101.
