Southern Hospitality is whatās served up at CLT. They conduct passenger opinion surveys every 6 months to ensure that visitorsā needs are being met. This resulted in services like free WiFi and charging stations being added throughout the terminals. They also have a volunteer program which started over 10 years ago. It includes 70 volunteers working to make the passenger experience a positive one. There areĀ 20 permanent and rotating art exhibits called āJust Plane Artā to enhance the environment for visitors. In 2012, the Charlotte City and Arts & Sciences Councils installed a 60-foot tall sculpture. Ā “Ascendusā was designed by Ed Carpenter to be an instantly recognizable icon identifying and celebrating the excitement of flight. There are ample shopping and dining opportunities, as well as a one-stop rental car facility which was added in 2015. It includes all available rental car companies, except Thrifty.
