Southeast of El Paso Texas, across the border from Chihuahua Mexico, are the Chinati Hot Springs. Visitors have enjoyed these warm mineral springs for hundreds of years. Come prepared for this one, and you’ll have an unforgettable time. Pack your gear and all your favorite goodies. An off-road vehicle wouldn’t hurt either. There is a communal kitchen with everything you need to cook. The cabins all have A/C, heat, and a mini-fridge. Some come with a private patio and charcoal grill, fire pit and natural spring fed hot tubs. There is a general store at The Hot Springs Airport in the nearby town of Ruidoso for any necessities. They also have the only wi-fi around. There are plenty of nearby places to hike, horseback ride, and bike trails run parallel to the Rio Grande to the south. Spend at least one day at Big Bend Ranch State Park.
