
9) Cattail Falls Trail
The Cattail Falls is an 80-foot high waterfall, which creates a beautiful, natural pool of water at its base. The picturesque trail leading to it is located in Big Bend National Park. Cattail Falls isn’t found on the park map, butit is worth finding once in the area. At the bottom of the waterfall there are lush trees, natural water holes and plenty of flowers and vegetation, where the waters of the falls serve as a source of water for the parks wildlife.
For a side tour, get off the beaten path and make your way to the hiking trails in the park. You may just get the chance to set your eyes on the lovely waterfalls of the Cattail Falls from a far.
