6) Boca Chica Beach
Boca Chica Beach is a stretch of undeveloped shoreline in Brownsville, close to the Mexican border. Since it is undeveloped, it still has vistas of natural beauty. If you want to spend time at the beach but prefer to avoid tourists, make your way to Boca Chica Beach. It’s out-of-the-way almost guarantees that you’re not likely to find many visitors on this beach.
However, you may be surprised to find that you can swim, surf, fish or snorkel. So if you want to relax and get away from it all, just continue to the end of Highway 4 in Brownsville and you’ll eventually find this hidden gem of a beach.
