4) Higher Stress Levels
People often distinguish between work and play, and even if you enjoy your job, it may not be relaxing. When deadlines are approaching and you must put in non-stop effort, your stress levels will certainly rise. Stress is damaging to your mental and physical health. If it gets particularly bad, it may even distract you from what needs to get done. When you’re stressed out, you may not enjoy even the little time you have off each day. If you take a vacation, and don’t bring any work with you, your stress will automatically decrease. Especially if you go away from home, you can focus your mind on other things, such as fun activities. With lower stress, you will feel good in body and in mind. You will benefit from taking enough breaks to bring your stress down before it reaches a harmful level.
