Hawaii is the obvious choice when planning a romantic getaway for two and Maui, known as the ‘magic isle’, is the perfect choice for couples who want a little more than the usual sun, sand and sea. An island located in the mid-Pacific Ocean, Maui is a haven of scenic beaches and colorful sunsets with a laid-back tropical vibe.
For the more adventurous, Maui also offers a diverse landscape that includes volcanic craters, waterfalls and tropical rainforests. Haleakala National Park is home to the highest lookout in Maui and the Oheo Gulch waterfalls but it takes a strenuous yet rewarding hike to get to there.
