4) Pack for Less Days Than Needed
If you’re traveling for more than a week, pack only for 4 or 5 days. If you’re traveling for 7, pack for 2-3 days. It’s often easier to find a laundry service, then it is to bring fresh items for every day of your trip. Another tip is to bring items that are durable and can be worn several times before needing to be washed. Cheap fabrics usually don’t hold up to wear and tear and soil the way better fabrics do. Also, bring items that don’t require dry cleaning, which can be more expensive than a regular wash and fold service. It will also make your trip more enjoyable – having less items to unpack and repack. This is especially true if your trip involves more than one destination.
