4) Irvine
It is a bit expensive; and the weather during the summer is hot. But, if you’re looking for a safe place to live and great business opportunities, you won’t do much better than Irvine. It has one of the lowest crime rates in the area, and is also the location for many international and national corporate headquarters. Because of the predominance of businesses in the area, Irvine has been consistently ranked among the top 10 places to live by Businessweek and CNNMoney.com; 24/7 Wall Street rated it as the best managed city in the entire United States. Irvine also has an outstanding educational system, including public schools and exceptional higher educational institutions. Historically, the area has been inhabited for thousands of years, but the modern city is the result of a planned development of 42 different villages, each designed to have different architectural styles, ranging from California Modern, Spanish, to Contemporary/Moroccan.
